American Tourist Allegedly Raped by Cuban Football Players in Jamaica
According to Irie FM Sports four members on the Cuban national football team who participated in a friendly international match against Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz at the Montego Bay Stadium on Monday are now being detained by the Montego Bay Criminal Investigations Branch on allegations of rape.
The players allegedly raped an American tourist who was staying at the same hotel as the Cuban team.
When contacted the Montego Bay CIB confirmed the incident and Senior Superintendent Steve McGregor stated that investigations are at an advanced stage.
The match between Cuba and Jamaica ended in a comfortable 3-0 win for the Reggae Boyz with Romeo Parkes, Daniel Gordon and Darren Mattocks each hitting the target.
