Body of high school girl discovered in St. Ann

A large crowd gathered at the entrance to the Addison Park sports complex in Brown’s town, St. Ann earlier this morning following the gruesome discovery of the body of a young woman. 

Residents informed The Jamaican Blogs™ that the body was found on a paved portion of the facility commonly used by many residents for morning exercises.

According to residents the victim attended the Brown’s Town high School.  We have since learnt her age and identity – 16-yr-old  Tasheik Nugent.

Wounds on the body of the victim suggest she was sexually assaulted and strangled to death.

Police combed the area and processed the crime scene. A motive for the latest attack has not been determined.
