Reggae Boyz midfielder Peter-Lee Vassell has been selected as the 16th pick  in the second round of the 2019 MLS SuperDraft by Los Angeles FC.

Vassell, who formerly plied his trade for Harbour View in the Red Stripe Premier League, showed of his skills in the  MLS Caribbean Combine in October, earning MVP honours at the event.

The youngster, just 19 years of age was also instrumental in helping Cornwall College win the 2016 DaCosta Cup title.

Vassell has represented  Jamaica at every level and has already made 8 appearances for the senior Reggae Boyz scoring five goals in the process.

His most recent goal for Jamaica came in a 6-0 thromping of Bonaire in a Concacaf Nations League Qualifier in October.
