Reggae Boyz Re-Enter Top 50 In Latest FIFA Ranking

Jamaica has climbed several places on the most recent FIFA Coca-Cola world football ranking.

The Reggae Boyz who recently earned a creditable 2-2 draw against World Cup bound South Korea last month has made five steps up the ladder to be ranked 50th in the world.

This month Iceland moved up two places to sit at an all time high of 18th.

Other teams who made their way into the top are Hungary which moves up 5 places to 49th, and Venezuela –  now 48th after climbing 4 places.

  

Jamaica retains bragging rights as the number one team in the Caribbean.

The top 3 CONCACAF teams are Mexico (17), the United States (24) and Costa Rica (25).

The top 15 on the list have not changed with world champions Germany still sitting in the top spot ahead of Brazil with  Portugal in 3rd.
