Reggae Boy Andre Blake continues to shine following his incredible displays at the Gold Cup  earlier this year.

Blake suffered a laceration in the tournament’s final against the United States and was forced to make an early exit but  received the Golden Gloves award for his athletic performances between the sticks.

He has now been named IBX Live Fearless Player of the month for September. Blake received an astounding 85 percent of the vote to earn the designation.

Blake played in only two matches in the month of August after returning from the Gold Cup injury, but had some of his best performances of the season in September.

During a 1-1 draw against Minnesota United, Blake expertly dealt with several dangerous chances and led the Philadelphia Union from the back to help then grab a point on the road.

In his next game he stopped a season-high 8 shots – including a diving stop against Derrick Etienne.

Blake already has 9 clean sheets this season.
