Police in Hunts Bay have reportedly launched an investigation into a gruesome murder where a man was chopped to death, his body cut in two and left at a popular motel in Kingston.

At approximately 11:30 am on Saturday, the body of the unidentified male was found in a room at the motel located along Gretna Green Avenue, Kingston.

A janitor reportedly stumbled on the man’s remains after entering a room at the facility.

Police were later summoned to the scene and, upon their arrival, the body was seen with a plastic bag tied over the head. The upper torso was seen in the bathroom and the lower half near the shower.

Police have not yet established a motive for the killing.

It is being surmised that the victim was a cross dresser and drug mule, who had ingested drugs. Reports are that he was brought to the facility and cut open and the contents removed from his body.
