10-Yr-Old Hospitalised After Allegedly Being Assaulted By Woman
A woman in now reportedly in police custody after she allegedly attacked a 10 year-old boy who was heckling her on Tuesday.
Kingston Eastern Police say that at approximately 2:30 pm, the boy was among a group of students who were reportedly heckling the woman.
The woman, in response, reportedly grabbed the youngster’s neck.
A release from the corporate communication arm of the Jamaica Constabulary Force stated:
“A teacher quickly intervened and separated the woman from the boy. He was assisted to the hospital in a JDF Coast Guard ambulance and the woman taken into custody. The child is still in hospital,”
Investigations are ongoing to determine what charges will be laid against the woman, the police said.
