Police Officer Dies After Car Runs Into Parked Truck

A police constable has reportedly died as a result of injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle collision along the Bustamante Highway in Clarendon.

He has been identified as 28-year-old Jamie Robinson, who was assigned to the Spanish Town Police Station and resided in Hatfield, Manchester.

Reports from the May Pen Police are about 6:30 pm, Robinson was driving his Nissan Skyline motor car along the highway when he lost control of the vehicle and collided into a parked truck.

He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

  

The incident occurred on Thursday (March 23).
