On Tuesday detectives from the narcotics division recaptured a man who escaped from the Denham Town Police Station lock-up.

He was one of nine prisoners who cut their way out of the Denham Town lock-up last September.

According to the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), 23-year-old Thoedore Lawrence otherwise called ‘Theo’, of Slipe Pen Road, Kingston was recaptured in Cross Roads, St. Andrew.

Lawrence was charged for murder at the time of his escape.

Seven of the nine prisoners are now back in the custody of police.

One escapee was killed leaving one still at large – Kevin Thomas, 26 otherwise called ‘Tatan’ of McKenzie Drive, Tivoli Gardens, Kingston.
