Jamaica Easily Beats the USA to Earn Gold in 4 X 200m Relay

Team Jamaica Shines at Armory Track and Field Invitational

On Saturday Jamaica’s women 4x200m team impressed at the Armory Track and Field Center in New York.

The team which comprised of Venicha Baker, Yanique Ellington, sprint hurdler Ladonna Richards and Shavine Hodges crossed the finish line ahead of the United States to take gold in 1:37.80.

The US team earned silver after clocking 1:38.19.

  

BVI placed third with 1:38.52, followed by France – 1:43.82 while Canada was disqualified.

The team was conditioned by former Jamaica quartermiler Sanjay Ayre who lauded the team following their impressive performance.
