Body of Teacher Found With Bullet Wounds in St Ann

The body of a teacher of the Charlemont High School in St Catherine was reportedly found with bullet wounds in the Claremont area of St Ann on Saturday, February 18.

The deceased has been identified as 39-year-old Kanijah Howell of Linstead, St Catherine.

Reports are that family members reported Howell missing on Friday afternoon after failing to get in contact with him.

Further reports are that on Saturday morning, at about 9 am, the body of a male was found in bushes with bullet wounds to the head on the Barrett Hall main road, close to Irons Mountain near Claremont, St Ann.

  

The body was later identified to be that of Howell.

It is believed that Howell’s Toyota Wish motorcar was also stolen.

The police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
