Two children have reportedly been hospitalised after they were attacked by gunmen at home while sleeping in Race Track, Clarendon on Sunday morning January 8).

Shortly after 3:30 am, armed men reportedly kicked in the door of a house in Race Track, a community close to Denbigh in May Pen.

The intruders then proceeded to open fire on two youngsters who are brothers, one only five years old, and the other 16, while they slept.

They two children were rushed to hospital, where they have been admitted.

The 16-year-old is said to be in a serious condition.

Police in Clarendon are currently investigating the incident.
