Teenager Posts Eerie Message Before Allegedly Committing Suicide
The body of a teen was reportedly found hanging from a tree in the Fairy Hill district of Portland on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Tradane Manning.
Friends of the teen have reportedly claimed that Manning had expressed a desire to take his own life, but his threats were not taken seriously.
Manning’s last Whatsapp status update made on November 15 read:
“ Ur last moment or memory with me is actually the last moment of my life… Phone password is ****… Goodbye.”
Police say Manning’s body was discovered by his father hanging from a tree with a tie around his neck in the family’s backyard.
The police were alerted and the scene was processed.
The teen’s body was then taken to the morgue.
Manning’s father last reported seeing him alive on Monday November 14 at 7 pm.
