RIP Miss Cleo – Famous TV Psychic Who Used Jamaican Accent Dies

Miss Cleo, the famous television psychic who would tell callers their future during the 1990s and early 2000s has died.

Cleo, real name Youree Dell Harris was born in Los Angeles, California (USA) but claimed to be a Jamaican shaman in her famous infomercials and became extremely well known for her catchphrase, “Call Mi Now!”.

According to TMZ, a representative for Miss Cleo stated that she died Tuesday morning in Palm Beach County, FL.

Cleo was reportedly recently hospitalized, but was discharged last week to a hospice center.

  

She was battling colon cancer which had spread to her liver and lungs.

The rep also said Cleo remained a “pillar of strength” during her illness … and died surrounded by family and friends.

Miss Cleo died at age 53.
