Lady Saw Scheduled For White House Performance

Lady Saw is reportedly scheduled to perform at the White House on June 24.

The former dancehall artiste widely known as the ‘Queen of Dancehall’ was baptised late last year following the untimely death of the upcoming female Dancehall entertainer – J Capri.

Following her baptism, expressed her desire to become a minister for Jesus.

She stated:

“”I’m about to go to school to do leadership and ministering and take it from there and see where the Lord leads me. Right now I am into the Bible, watching TBN and I am not getting enough sleep because I’m so anxious.”

“A lot of people want to teach me but everybody has their own way of teaching and interpreting and the Lord sent someone to me one day who told me that she used to own businesses and the Lord stripped her and sent her to Bible school and I was there like, ‘Thank you Jesus, I hear you’ because I was confused and talking to God in my mind,” she added.

According to The Star, Saw recently stated:

“It not all about me, it’s all about God and I feel honoured to be an ambassador for Christ. I have to give him all the glory and honour.”

She also explained how she ended up being scheduled to perform at the White House:

“My pastor, Bishop Everton Thomas, from Emmanuel Apostolic Church who baptised me last December received a call from Nadine Blair. She informed him that Dr. Agorom Dike called the radio station to get me on the Caribbean and African Faith – Based Leadership Conference, 2016, to give my testimony and perform,” she said.

The conference will be held from June 19- 24 and will include a briefing at the White House where Saw is scheduled to make an appearance.
