High School Girl Reportedly Shot in Head During High Speed Chase

A female student of the Alpha high school in Kingston was reportedly shot in the head earlier today (June 30) during a high speed chase that involved a taxi operator.

Police reportedly directed a taxi operator to stop, however the directive fell on deaf ears as the driver proceeded to lead the cops on a high speed chase.

Gunshots were reportedly heard some time after and the student and an adult were left nursing bullet wounds.

Police sources have claimed that the shooting incident was not carried out by officers of the law, but by individuals wearing vests similar to those worn by the police.

“What we can tell you is that a taxi operator transporting children  had an altercation with a group of men in the area,” one senior officer of Kingston Central reportedly stated.

As the taxi operator left the scene, a “group of men wearing vests” drove him down, the cop said, adding that shots were fired and the student injured.

“This is the information we received on the ground and this is the angle we are probing at this time,” the senior officer also stated.

The student’s condition is not known at this time, and there are conflicting reports on whether an adult was also injured during the incident.
