Jamaican Man Accussed of Possessing Over 1,000 Child Porn Images in Cayman
A Jamaican man appeared in a court in the Cayman islands on Monday (May 23) and is accused of having over a thousand pornographic images in his possession.
According to a report by Cayman27, the accused, 24-year-old Travorne Daley has been denied bail and remains in custody.
He now faces ten charges of possessing images and one charge of distribution of an image of a child.
He was reportedly arrested after authorities in the United States passed on information to detectives in Cayman.
When his cell phone and laptop were seized, police reportedly discovered over 1,000 images and more than 100 videos.
He is scheduled to return to court on May 31.
The accused was the holder of a work permit in the Cayman islands.
