Alkaline Tops Billboard Reggae Album Chart

Alkaline is now enjoying the number one spot on the Billboard Top Reggae Album chart.

His album titled New Level Unlocked was produced by DJ Frass and is ahead of Joss Stone’s album Water For Your Soul.

The ‘champion boy’ appears to be rapidly gaining fans as he is also doing well on the iTunes Reggae album chart – currently enjoying the number 3 spot just behind two albums By Bob Marley.

Marley’s albums Legend (Remastered) and Legend (Deluxe Edition) are occupying the number 1 and 2 spots respectively on the iTunes chart.

Meanwhile, Sean Paul’s collaboration with Australian singer Sia – a song titled Cheap Thrills is also climbing the Billboard Hot 100 chart, moving from a rank of 79 last week to 39.
