Former world’s fastest man Asafa Powell was blistering as he clocked  a new world leading time in Houston, Texas (USA) yesterday (Feb 12).

Powell completed a 60m dash in an incredible 6.49 seconds while running at the Howie Ryan Invitational meet at the University of Houston.

His time is better than the previous world leading mark achieved by the US athlete Mike Rodgers last week.

Rodgers completed the 60m dash in 6.52 seconds.
