Police Hunt Caribbean Bombmaker in France Attacks

It has been revealed that a manhunt is now underway for a man known only as Mohammed K, a Caribbean national who authorities believe created the explosive vests used in last week’s deadly attacks in Paris, France.

According to reports, Belgian security officials are searching for the suspected bombmaker who they believe resides in Roubaix, a town located in northern France close to the Belgian border.

He has been described as “extremely dangerous” because of his expertise with explosives.

Authorities also believe he has been in contact with Salam Abdelslam, a wanted terrorist thought to be the logistics manager behind the Paris attacks.

According to the Daily Express, authorities suspect the alleged bombmaker may have fled France and is currently hiding out in Belgium.

A former French intelligence official said: “A munitions specialist is someone who is used to handling explosives, who knows how to make them, to arrange them in a way that the belt or vest is not so unwieldy that the person can’t move.“And it must also not blow up by accident.”

A Belgian security source said: “Even more than Salah Abdeslam, he is the man we need to find as quickly as possible”.

Mohammed K’s Caribbean island of origin has not been revealed.
