The Photographer Behind some of Bob Marley’s Most Iconic Images (Video)

Meet Dennis Morris. He is the man responsible for taking some of the most recognizable images of Jamaica’s king of Reggae Bob Marley.

Dennis met Bob Marley in 1974 at the tender age of 16. Marley and Morris had a connection from the get-go and their relationship quickly blossomed into a friendship which would last for many years to come.

In the short documentary titled “Bob Marley: Giant“, Morris describes how he was ridiculed for his ambition to become a photographer.

He was told it would be impossible to become a photographer as a black man but after meeting with Bob Marley, the legendary singer told him to believe in himself.

Whether or not you are a Bob Marley fan, you will appreciate the images captured by this photographer as well as his narration of his experiences with Bob.
