Samantha Gonsalves  (born 1996), popularly known by her stage name Samantha J, is a Jamaican model and singer-songwriter.

She is known for her 2013 hit, “Tight Skirt“, which has topped international charts.

She was born in Kingston, Jamaica and resides in the parish of St. Ann.

She was discovered by the Si Mi Yah Agency, while attending a model and talent casting in Ocho Rios.
