Darkness

Kayanda poems, Brittany Blair Poems, Brittany Blair Jamaica

Darkness…

Death…

Cold…

Nothing…

Are the few words I dare to think about- hope to dream of?

Silence.

Crippling silence; forever my identity

Bathed it his darkness, my darkness, your darkness

Forever his second darkness and my love.

Evil

Murder

Betrayal

Blood.

That shed, thickens, redden my soul.

Stained by the warmth of his face death’s face.

The thread that binds us, bounds us forever to his world.

His truth, his darkness my darkness, your darkness.

Forever our second darkness, morphing into one.

Please consume my darkness!

Love.

Light…

Hope?

A figment of our imagination that will never be attained.
