Jamaica Maintains Place in latest FIFA Rankings

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz have maintained their 53rd ranking in world football according to today’s release of the FIFA Coca Cola world rankngs.

Jamaica also continues to be the Caribbean’s top rated side ahead of Haiti who moved up two places to 59.

Trinidad and Tobago dropping a spot to 82 and Cuba falling one place to 87 are the only other Caribbean teams in the top 100.

The Reggae Boyz are however sixth in CONCACAF behind Mexico 16, the United States 29, Panama 38, Costa Rica 48 and Honduras 50.

  

Spain’s run as the world’s number one ranked side continues followed by Germany, Argentina, Croatia and Portugal as there was no change to the top five.

The top 10 is completed by Colombia, England, Italy, Netherlands and Ecuador.

Five time champions and 2014 World Cup hosts Brazil are ranked 19th.
