Buju Banton Awaits Find From Computer Expert…

Buju Banton and his legal team are patiently awaiting results from their computer expert following a court hearing of juror misconduct.

U.S. District Court Judge James Moody said at the hearing Tuesday (02.19.13) that juror Terri Wright in the Buju Banton trial, must hand over her computer hard drive for a search by an expert, hired by the Grammy winning Reggae artist.

Imhotep Alkebulan a member of Buju Banton’s legal team said they’re currently waiting to hear what the expert will disclose regarding the particular research done if any.

Juror, Terri Wright of Tampa, told a reporter for the Miami New Times in an interview last year that she conducted research about the case during Buju’s trial. That would have violated a judge’s instructions.

Buju Banton is serving a 10-year prison term on his drug conviction.
